Sometimes you get what you pay for and this tour was not exception! The van that picked us up from our hotel was extremely small, very old and the air conditioning was not working well! My seat cushion was not functioning and kept coming off. My husband was so uncomfortable he started to get sick so we left the tour only a few hours in. This tour was not worth our money and I would not recommend. Although our guide was very friendly - still would not recommend!

This tour was NOT a city tour!! We received a long sermon on the history of Mexico based on the guide’s personal opinion. We were taken to the Guadalupe cathedral in Puerto Vallarta, then to a jewellery store and leather store, encouraging us to buy items there. There were no other stops in the town itself. We were bussed to a tequila sales place and plied with many samples of tequila, for at least 45 mins. I do not drink alcohol!!! By now it was 2:30, we then were lead to a small local restaurant, which was surprisingly good, the only good thing about this tour. This was a total waste of my precious time. The tour was to be 5-6 hours, it was 9 hours before we were returned to our resort. Extremely disappointing tour.

The host (Jose) was amazing!!BUT this is a tour designed to bring you to 4 designated stores , barely any City tour time…. The tequila tasting was a tequila store in the hills, it wasn’t where they make it. Dinner was ok-ish but we ate “lunch” at 4 pm, so bring your own snacks, and pack you patience for dinner, 2 hours. Save your money and take a cab downtown, google some of the sites you’ll get more out of it….
