I've been on food tours around the world and this is, hands down, my favorite so far. Ask for Joana if you want to have the most educating tour ever! Not only did we see parts of the area we would not have on our own, we got the history of the families who create this amazing food. Joana urged us to dive in to all of the flavors presented to us. She was easy to understand, her voice carries well, she catered to our interests and went out of her way to make this the best experience possible. Be sure to come hungry!! Also bring pesos so you can shop in the non-touristy areas if possible.

Joana provided an exceptional experience for us. She is extremely knowledgeable as she is certified by the Mexican government to conduct tours at any location within Mexico. The food and drinks were fantastic; do not eat breakfast as there is plenty of food to enjoy. The transportation was in a new Mercedes Benz van that was very comfortable. My wife and I took this tour a few years ago and we absolutely loved it. The tour was great and our guide-Joana was wonderful. We traveled back to Puerto Vallarta this year (July 2025) with our daughter and we wanted her to experience this tour.
