Historie Altamury dýchá z každého kamene historického centra. Jedli jsme v úžasné rodinné restauraci Trattoria del Corso, kde jsme ochutnali speciality domácí kuchyně, nekonečné množství vynikajících predkrmú, domácí těstoviny, kaši z unikátní luštěniny cicerchia, vše čerstvé, doplněné vlastním olivovým olejem a famózním chlebem Pane di Altamura.

Sulla strada di ritorno dalla Basilicata, siamo andati a vedere attrattive di Altamura e le sue boutique del pane. Mi sarei aspettato una città più confortevole ma ferirei che supera la sufficienza, bella la cattedrale.
