    With the tour will begin at our headquarters in Strada Vallisa 81 in Bari Vecchia . From here, your expert guide will take you to the old part of the city where you will visit the ancient Basilica of San Nicola and the Norman Castle. Afterwards, you will move to the Basilica of San Nicola to visit the church and its wonderful crypt where the relics of the saint are kept. The tour then continues through the characteristic alleys of the historic center where the old ladies still prepare by hand the orecchiette outdoors. Your trip ends with a visit to the modern part of the city with its theatres, shopping streets, the famous promenade, the fish market and squares where you can taste one of our typical Apulian products, subject to availability.

I read quite a bit before going on this trip, and having a guide like Ciara, was so much more enlightening. She is educated in history and architecture, and knows the locals so you get a much richer experience. I'll savor everything I learned.

A very nice walk through the old town of Bari. We saw a lot worth seeing and learned a lot from the very nice tour guide. Delicious focaccia was also available during the tour. Highly recommended.

My main criticism is that it's never a good idea to offer a two-language tour. The tour company seems well-populated enough to be able to offer a separate tour for each language group. This resulted in waiting around while the guide had to speak to one group in Italian and then repeat for the English group. I feel it would have been a better experience.
