    The guide will pick you up and bring you to Matera where you will start the guided walking tour.During the walking tour which lasts approx. 2 hours, our professional guides will show you the Sassi and take you to visite inside a cave house where you will see the tools, the furniture, the lifestyle of the people that lived in THE SASSI OF MATERA until almost recently. This experience will take you back in time.

Our tour guide Mihaela was punctual and very knowledgeable of one of the oldest cities in the world. The driver who picked us up Mattias was great as he gave us outstanding tips and recommendations about how to have more fun in the region. The two comments that caused the loss of the star are: 1) it felt that she was rushing through the tour by looking at her phone quite often 2) the cost including the pick up from Bari was not reported up front and it should have been 3) Matera cannot be covered in two hours or less, the time the tour guide was with us.

Recorrer Matera con calma y con la informacion entretenida e interesante que aporto nuestra guia Micaela fue buenisimo , comentar los que veiamos sin apuro y el viaje desde Bari en una excelente Van , con conductor muy correcto y puntual nos permitió disfrutar mucho este tour .

This was a great tour. Mahaela was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and lots of fun. She recommended a great restaurant at the end of the tour. We booked this at the last minute but she managed to book the tour and arrange excellent transportation. I highly recommend this tour.
