We strongly recommend Giorgio as a guide! Awesome and local experience with great explanations and answers to many historical / cultural questions. Giorgio is friendly and funny, he knows everyone in the city, making this experience both a funny and nice moment, but also a very interesting tour with a lot of relevant information and experiences.

I would definitely recommend this tour. Giorgio was a fantastic guide. He really showed us the local way of life from the fishermen mending their nets, locals playing cards and the Nonna’s making fresh pasta. He is a local person himself so he is very informative about the food and history of Bari. A highlight for me was making pasta and trying traditional food from the area.

Giorgio was a fabulous guide! He met me on time and proceeded to show me a Bari I couldn’t have seen on my own. At the wharf, I got to interact with the fishermen who were making the best of a cold day by playing cards intently. The warm/intimate encounters continued in the deli, the chocolate shop, with strangers in the street, in the church, and finally for the pasta making. (Thanks Ana!) I loved the storytelling, history and perspective that Giorgio provided throughout. Kindly, he took photos throughout and sent them to me afterwards. We ended with delicious gelato and tips for how to spend the rest of my time in Bari.
