Our first stop will be the renowned Amphitheatre, also known as the Arena, a well-preserved Roman amphitheater that once hosted grand gladiator battles and theatrical performances. Continuing our adventure, we'll make our way to a nearby fortress (entry included) that offers breathtaking panoramic views of Pula and its picturesque surroundings. From this vantage point, you'll be able to take in the beauty of the city, its charming rooftops, and the sparkling Adriatic Sea beyond. Next, we'll visit the Sergii Arch, a magnificent Roman triumphal arch often referred to as the Golden Gate. This architectural masterpiece stands as a tribute to the Sergii family, particularly Lucius Sergius Lepidus, a prominent tribune who served in the Roman Legion. Enjoy a scenic return journey, taking in the sights of Pula along the way.
