Taino's Gourmet Kitchen lab offers you the opportunity to learn about one of the Dominican flagship products, "The Cacao Fruit". We will teach about Cacao history and what are their benefits. The fun part begins when our master chocolate starts making the magic of chocolate, where you also will be realizing your own chocolate with Master instructions. We will be doing some contest and entertainment during the class.

This was an amazing experience for the entire family (including two teenagers). They start with a fun lesson on the history of chocolate followed by tasting hot chocolate (the best I have had) and a hands-on experience where you make your own chocolate from scratch: as in from the roasted cacao seeds. The guides were very knowledgeable and kind and explained everything in a way the we could understand. Our main guide was Felix (who also had a great sense of humor) and the master chocolateur was Anthony (fantastic teacher). The best part is that you get to take the delicious chocolate you make back home! I highly recommend this activity.

This was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved this class. I learned so much and then making my own chocolate from grinding the cocoa beans to rolling the balls and making bars, was so much fun. I could not recommend this enough. Do it. You will have a great time and the chocolate is so good!!!!

We loved this class. group ranged in age from 19 to 80 and everyone had a great time! Anthony was the best and we learned a little about chocolate. The gift shop was fun too!
