    An air-conditioned tour bus will pick you up at your hotel lobby with a professional tour guide and take you to Bayahibe, a charming fishing village. There, you’ll board a comfortable catamaran to the island, featuring restrooms, a shaded open bar, music, a large net for sunbathing, a vibrant atmosphere, and a friendly crew ready to keep you entertained. On the island, unwind on a lounge chair, enjoy our all-inclusive beach bar, and savor a delicious buffet with traditional Dominican flavors. On the way back, board a speedboat and stop at the stunning Natural Swimming Pool in the Caribbean Sea—one of the region’s largest sandbars. Wade through warm waters and feel soft sand beneath your feet. Starfish sightings are common! We then return to the boat, head back to Bayahibe, and board the bus to your hotel.

Took over an hr to pick others up. Then waited because they weren't outside. Took 1.5 hrs to get to the dock for the boat then 1.5 hr more on a boat. Only stayed at the beach for 2 hrs max. Then on a boat again for 30 minutes then another 1.5 hr plus trip home. Looooong day. No snacks. It was eh.

Der Tageseinstieg verlief grauenhaft: 1) Als auf der Hinfahrt der Reiseleiter alle fragte, aus welchem Land man komme, wurde ich als Deutscher mit der Frage begrüsst, ob ich aus der Familie Hitler stamme. - Ein schlechter Scherz am Morgen… 2) Auf der Bus-Hinfahrt zur Bootsanlegestelle wurde ungebeten eine Pause zum Toilettengang eingelegt, die 20 Minuten dauerte. Das ganze spielte sich vor einem einsamen Geschäft mit unansehnlichen Parkplatz ab. Zum Kaufen wurde keiner gezwungen… Der weitere Tagesverlauf: 3) Die Bootsfahrt auf einen Schnellboot war gut. Insbsondere der Stop an einer Sandbank war zum Fotoschiessen hervorragend. 4) Der Strand der Insel Saona ist sehenswert und läd zum Fotografieren ein. Der Aufenthalt dort betrug ca. 3 Stunden. 5) Das Mittagessen war reine Massenabfertigung und einfach schlecht. Pappteller und Plastikbesteck komplettierten diesen Eindruck. 6) Die Rückfahrt auf dem Katamaran war mehr als unangenehm. Dröhnende Musik über 2 Stunden, Gejohle von betrunkenen Gästen und teilweise obzöne Präsentationen tanzender Gäste waren der Abschluss. 7) Unangenehm aufgefallen war auch, dass wir öfter nach Trinkgeld gefragt wurden…. Fazit: 2 Punkte ist grosszügig bewertet!
