    Our first stop will be at a ranch to ride horseback, then we will go to the basilica of Higüey and we will also visit the market where the natives sell their agricultural products. We will have a delicious lunch with typical food in the Ana mulla river, then we will go to a typical house where coffee, cocoa and Mama Juana are harvested and processed, we will go to a tobacco factory and an art school. We finish the tour in Macao beach where you can bathe. and then back to your hotel.

Authentic experience. There were multiple stops and each stop we would get about 20-25 minutes each. It would be nice if they played some music in the back of the open air truck and maybe a speaker and a mic to the tour guide so we can hear him speak as the truck is moving. If you have the opportunity check this tour out. We were out for 7 hours on this tour.

Me and my partner loved this excursion! We wanted to explore authentic Dominican culture and we definitely got that. We did the following activities: horseback riding, visited Higueys basilica, souvenir shopping, sampled mamajuana, visited a spice and food market, ate authentic Dominican cuisine, explored a river with a mini fall, saw a typical Dominican home, learned how chocolate and coffee is made at a plantation, made our own cigars at a cigar factory, and ended the trip at Macao Beach. Lunch was included but entry to the basilica was a dollar. Regardless, we definitely got our money's worth. I did knock down a star because this is advertised as a 4 hour trip but we didn't get back to our resort until 5 ish. Robinson, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, funny, and made every effort to accommodate to our need. We also appreciated our driver Tito, he was a very great driver and we loved not worrying about traffic rules and parking ourselves. Overall, great tour, could not reccomend it enough

We did half day tour with Sandy and Jude, though it was more like a full day since we were picked first and dropped last haha. But the trip Itself was great, very nice exposure to the Dominican lifestyle, very caring staff. Sales pitch were made at cacao and cigar stops, but nothing pushy, which I appreciated. All in all great tour, highly recommend!!
