Jungle Buggies and Monkeyland from Punta Cana

Company should Provide disposable rain coats. We had hurricane like rains and persons were forced to go and do the outdoor activity risking phenumonia and then told not even a partial refund could be offered

We had a fantastic day and a ton of fun. Our driver Jose was very friendly and shared information along the way to and from the park. He also participated in parts of the tour. PJ our Buggy guide was amazing. He spoke several languages throughout and had everyone laughing throughout. Monkey Land was a lot of fun and the handlers ensured everyone had nice interactions with the monkeys. They took great pics throughout and had several little stops and educational moments throughout the day. Thank you!

Monkeys were cool - crawled right on top of your shoulders and head. They take pictures of you that you can buy or you can take your own. The people running the tour are not happy when you choose to use your own camera instead because of lost money for them. We chose to spend photography money on other excursions. Our phone worked fine for pictures. We were hoping to spend a longer period of time with the monkeys then we did, but for the time we had it was fun. They give you a small bowl that the monkeys feed out of and you hang onto. They won't let you take bags, backpacks and loose items on your person into the monkey cage. Be prepared to either leave your stuff in an unlocked cupboard they have or buy a $5 US lock to lock up your stuff in some very small lockers. Don't bring big bags if you want them locked - they won't fit. Nacho was our guide. He was hilarious, very informative and knew both Spanish and English very well. We did the buggies tour with PJ. He ensured everyone was safe and we had a fun time, not sure we would've spent the money on the buggies in the future. Seems like a trip we could have done at home, whereas, seeing the monkey's is something we can't do at home. Overall, good time. Great for kids and adults.
