    Bayahibe is the port where we take you to take the speed boats or catamaran depending on the daily schedule, but you will definitely will do both on the same day

    This is what we call The Natural Swimming pool, in between Saona Island and Dominican Republic, this is a spot where you will have a stop for drinks, photos and enjoying the amazing spot a few miles from the shore with a clear water about 3 feets deep, adults and kids can enjoy this

  • Minimum drinking age is 18 years
  • Note that: this tour starts in The Est National Park, La Romana. It thakes one hour by bus from any of the Punta Cana Hotels.
  • Pregnant travelers are not allowed to participate due to boat movement

This experience was great, but it is important to know that the day starts early. My group was picked up at 6:40am and we did not get to Saona island until 12pm. I recommend taking the speed there and the catamaran back. The speed boat is fun if you like adventure, but it is rough. My friend is smaller and she was flying out of her seat.

La isla es una maravilla, el agua espectacular, el mar, las olas… pero contratas un tour con esta gente y desde que te subes hasta que te bajas te están pidiendo “propinas” para todo el que respira ahí dentro. La comida y la bebida poco variada. Te hacen unas fotos que te las venden a precio de oro y luego no te las mandan al correo (una estafa) o sea, un desastre

Si bien la playa es muy bonita, no era muy distinta de las demás playas de la zona (con sus aguas turquesas y su arena blanca). Otro inconveniente a tener en cuenta es la distancia, salvó que estés en Bayahibe,. Viaje te gasta la mitad del dia entre la lancha y el bus. No creo que lo valga por el precio (mejor Isla Catalina!
