The Wine Experience pioneered Wine Tours in Uruguay and have been Number 1 on Trip Advisor for 10 years running. We offer a Private Wine Shuttle to the winery and will take care of all your wine tasting arrangements. You pay for the transfer only. We will arrange for the Owner or Winemaker to receive and guide you at the winery. You make payment directly to the winery and can choose between a classic or premium tasting with empanadas. We always keep in mind that you have travelled from afar to experience something special. Together with my small team, our goal is to make it as personable as possible (like hanging out with a new friend). We see ourselves as ambassadors of this beautiful country and see it as a privilege to show you the best of what's around. You came to the right place. Incredible, absolutely incredible. Not only did Ryan take us to two very special wineries, but he was also exceptionally helpful from the moment we messaged him about a wine tour. Ryan was nice enough to offer to pick us up at our airbnb in Punte Del Este and took us to Narbona where the wine was already waiting for us at our lovely table. Ryan poured us a glass of white wine and we walked the vineyards learning about the vines and grapes and landscape. Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable and great at explaining anything related to wine :). After walking the grounds, we had one of the best meals I had in Uruguay, and drank some very good reds (and picked up a couple bottles as well). The second day, Ryan took us to Sacromonte. A gorgeous vineyard with an incredible chef. At both wineries, Ryan was constantly offering to take photos of us, knowing all the best spots for the right background. In addition to the tours, Ryan consistently went above and beyond to help us navigate Uruguay. He put us in contact with a car rental agency that saved us quite a bit of money compared to what we found online. He gave us recommendations all over Uruguay, and even in Argentina. And his recommendations were spot-on. He knows his wine, and he also knows people all over. We highly recommend Ryan! We’re so glad we booked our tours with him.
