Our day trip to the Pyrenees Mountains and the medieval town of Vic was an unforgettable adventure. We started with a lively drive through beautiful countryside, arriving first in the charming town of Queralbs. There, we visited its historic church, full of character and nestled among picturesque stone buildings.
From Queralbs, we took the scenic train ride up to Nuria, where the landscape opened up into breathtaking alpine views. We enjoyed a picnic lunch surrounded by nature, although there are also several cozy restaurants available if you prefer a sit-down meal. The weather was perfect, making it an ideal day to explore.
A ride on the cable car offered even more spectacular vistas, and the area is full of hiking trails for all levels. Whether you’re a casual walker or an experienced hiker, there’s something for everyone.
The day began and ended in the lovely town of Vic, where our guide Nu gave us plenty of free time to explore the farmers market and local shops. Her insights and friendly nature really added to the experience.
While it was a bit of a long day, it was packed with beauty, history, and adventure. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the best of Catalonia’s natural and cultural treasures in a single day.
