The airport is amazing, I love the Play area for my child, Helped us Kill time. A good problem to have is your child is having so much fun they dont want to leave. PS. For parents travelling with younger ones, remember to request for a stroller online, at counter or on your tickect. Carrying a sleeping child on your hands and trying to maneuver your carry-on is a nightmare. That's the only issue I have with that airport.

DOH airport is larger than necessary, very pretentious marketing very expensive, 11 euros for 1 espresso and a lousy croissant, its best not to have to eat there watch your transit time there so as not to have to spend a fortune eating. Moreover the collective passengers roundabout/hall is chaotic so much so that they need to put staff to guide the people who gather there in masses.
