Souq Waqif is a showpiece of traditional architecture, handicrafts and folk art, and was once a weekend trading area for the Bedouin. The only traditional souq to remain in the Gulf, it is now a charming labyrinth of narrow streets where visitors can bargain and purchase an amazingly diverse range of products. A visit to one of the falcon shops is a unique experience – some shopkeepers will allow you to photograph and handle the birds while explaining equipment and training. There are very often displays of folk dance and music, particularly on festive occasions, and opportunities to take authentic pictures. Enjoy your day or evening at the Souk followed by a dinner in one of the local restaurants.

Souk aberto o que dificulta conhecê-lo no verão, onde a temperatura fica próxima aos 50°C. Ótimo local para compra de souvenires. Importante: fechado das 14 às 16h.

This is pretty nice area to visit Preferably after 6 pm if you want to do shopping while it's cool Pretty good food area too plenty restaurants too. Very okd and authentic buildings around . Not yo be missed , you can use the metro to get there , very cheap too buy day ticket or buy card if you planning to use through thd week . Uber available too

If you ever visit Doha, don't miss to visit the Souk Waqif.. An evening stroll through the Souks with its hundreds of little shops is an unique event. The smell of spices and grilled food is everywhere. Don't miss, when there, to have dinner and one of the dozens of restaurants.
