We spent a couple of hours here. Looking at the park, it seems mostly suited to fanning with small children. All the same I'm sure there's something to interest everybody unless you don't like ginger! We did the tasting tour plus train ride. Of those two, I'd recommend the taste tour as you get to know about ginger farming & production, and some of the history. It'll be difficult not to buy any ginger products before you leave the place. If you do the tour, they offer a small discount on a tasting package. Bear in mind, you could buy a lot of this stuff at your local supermarket. The 15min train ride was enjoyable too. If anything, it keeps another ex-cane hauling locomotive in action and off the scrap heap. It's certainly a pleasant place to spend a couple of hours but maybe not recommended if you have some kind of aversion to ginger.

The ginger factory was a wonderful day out for all ages, the tour was excellent and very informative, the bee show was a hit with the kids, the work put into the boat ride was fantastic and the train ride is a classic! All of the service from the employees was wonderful, friendly and helpful. 3 kids aged 8,9 & 10 and the adults greatly enjoyed the day and the food was delicious. Would definitely return!

Great fun for the family of a 5 year old. We did the train and boat rides plus the factory tour which were all fun. I think my daughter liked the Gruffalo adventure the best.
