    This very old Pub once was a store where gold miners would stock up before heading into the upper Shotover river to stake their claim and go gold mining. Sit outside where peoples dogs and children are running around in the sun or park up infant of the fire in the old stone building.

We were the only 2 booked on the tour and Lewis proceeded full steam ahead without any hesitation or compromising. Whilst my husband loves his beer, I’m not really a beer drinker but did try a few. Since we were only 2 and ahead of schedule, Lewis kindly dropped us at a winery for an extra experience. He is a great host, knowledgeable and delivers a great experience. Our brewery visits were fantastic and the included lunch at Canyon brewery was exceptional. Cannot recommend this tour enough.
