Del was an excellent and humourous driver and told us a lot about goldmining in Skippers Canyon as well as the film locations for LOTR and Mission Impossible. His local knowledge of the best stops for photographs was much appreciated. His Discovery vehicle was very clean and comfortable and we had no issues with its colour. We would highly recommend the half-day Skippers Canyon tour and would have done the full-day tour had we not had to get our son to the airport to catch his afternoon flight.

We had a fantastic afternoon with Del taking us in his 4WD to Skippers Canyon. He is knowledgeable and very easy company. We felt very safe on the drive and were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
Definitely coming back to do a full day trip with him next year.
We had our disabled daughter with us who loved the experience.

Fantastic bespoke 4WD tour. We had a 3 day tour with Del. Travelled with my
Father and his good mate both in their late 70s. Del really went out of his way to taylor the tour to our needs. We all had a great time. This part of NZ is really beautiful and interesting. Lots of little surprises along the way. Brought back a lot of memories for my dad and our friend who both grew up in this area. Del has been doing this for a long time, we always felt looked after and safe. Thanks Del
