Manuel Antonio ATV Off Road Rainforest & Waterfalls Adventure

Oscar was an amazing tour guide. He was super funny but serious when needed. It was an amazing ride to the waterfall with a refreshing dip into the swimming hole. And don't forget about the wonderful dinner afterwards. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to experience an excellent ATV experience.

We had the best time with Gabriel and the crew. I had never driven an ATV before and was a little nervous but I felt completely at ease after the training. Gabriel also went slow at first to make sure we were all ok. I rode with our 7 year old son on the back and we all loved it. We went through the palm forest, rivers and along quiet roads to rainmaker park where we had a snack and hike to swim in a waterfall. I will warn you will definitely get dusty/ muddy so keep that in mind. I would recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothes and a small fanny pack for essentials. Water and fresh pineapple were provided at the park. The lunch at the end of our epic adventure was also among one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica.

Picked up as a group but unfortunately our bus did not have A/C! The guides were bilingual and funny. ATV ride was fun! We traveled through the pineapple tree plantation, then through villages to get to the RainMaker forest. There, you walk a steep hike to the waterfalls. They offer a walking stick....take it as it helped with the climb. This forest and waterfalls were beautiful!! Two of us in our group took advantage of jumping into the waterfalls. So make sure you wear your swimsuits and bring a towel! After the hike, they provided us with fresh pineapple and crackers. One the way back, we hit the mud/small rivers, which were my favorite!! My husband and I got very dirty!! When we returned, the crew had lunch prepared for us. It was delicious....chicken, rice and beans!!! Downside...there are personal lockers but they do not have locks. They locked the room which housed all the lockers, but they kept the key. BUT nothing went missing. Also, they have an outside "shower" next to the picnic area to rinse off, but you don't get clenaed. They had 2 bathrooms to dry off and change. Must bring a bag to put dirty clothes/shoes in and some towels and a change of clothes. Also, the helmets smelled horrible, like they had never been cleaned. They stunk like sweat!! There were no opportunities to stop and take photos. We traveled through some beautiful countryside and wished we could have taken pictures. Our photographer, Steven, was built into the tour with the option to buy the photos at the end. He got some great shots of us on our ATV.....did miss one where my husband got drenched in mud!!! He had a great deal on buying the photos. $10 per person for all your photos....excellent deal!!! Ride home was hot with no A/C.
