Explore truly unique experience in the heart of Quito city and discovering its history from a local eye; walk around its narrow streets visiting the most iconic architecture buildings such as; the Golden Church, San Francisco Square, the Main Square and at the same time visit Luis´ local workshop “Cruz Verde”, a well know artisan whose family has prepared the local candy “Colaciones” for the last 100 years keeping alive Quito´s tradition. Katie and I took the key to the city to her experience in equator line Tours with Adventure journeys. This was a great tour as it was our first day in Ecuador and we got oriented with the city culture and weather. Our guide Juan David did a great job explaining all aspects of what we were seeing from the sites to the cultural significance. We would recommend this tour for anyone looking for a well rounded experience and a great city overview.

The tour was part of a holiday supplied by Newmarket Holidays and also included Otavalo. Marco was an excellent tour escort. He ensured that every part of the experience went smoothly, was very knowledgeable and helpful, even helping with shopping needs. He was also extremely friendly, a pleasure to know. I couldn't possibly fault a single part of his services.
