Antisana Condor Watching

Andres spoke English perfectly and was incredibly knowledgeable on all things of nature, geology, geography, history and politics. We picked his brain all day long and he was delighted to share with us. He also had all the right equipment to help us spot animals and see them up close and photograph them. A very pleasant and patient man. Will use again for sure.

My and my husband had only 1 day to visit Quito and we wanted to do the maximum program - we wanted to see the volcano, The city of Quito, the center of the world, I also wanted to do horse riding.... it sounds quite a busy program for a day, but with our professional guide Andreas we managed and we are very satisfied of our time with him. Andreas is very competent, with deep knowledge of nature, biodiversity and specifically in volcanoes, and he knows exactly how to plan your itinerary in the best way. So our day started not so early as we are not early birds, we traveled in comfort and exchange lots of interesting information about the nature and history of Ecuador , and the daily life of people of Ecuador. And although I was curious to see a volcano, he convinced me to go Antisana mountain in order to watch condors and colibri. That was much better as watching the condors in Ecuador is a great emotion. I was willing to do horse riding and he managed to organise that as well. So while my husband was enjoying the flying condors, I did horse riding enjoying amazing views! We had lunch at very authentic place and it was simple as supposed for a place in the middle of the mountain but very delicious. After all great experience we visited the Center of the World where he explained very well the position of the Equator. Actually to make these two experiences that are on the opposite directions is a challenging, but with good management of time we managed to see and take photos. Going back to Quito we stopped for a visit of the Basílica del Voto Nacional. This an impressive basilica and a must to see for Quito. So, all this experience for a day! We highly recommend having tours and experiences with Andreas. He is guy you can relay on!

Andres and (Joha) run a very professional tour company. Trip to Antisana was fun. Antisana is really beautiful national park. We saw a lot of Candors. Andres was our guide. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and honest tour guide. Good communication skills. We enjoyed our day out with him. If we knew, we will keep them as guide for our entire trip to Ecuador.
