Our driver Eduardo was prompt to pick us up at our hotel and communication was very good with the company. He was a safe driver and had all sorts of great information and knowledge to share along the drive. We drove along the Avenue of the Volcanoes and the Pan American Highway which were all very scenic and good roads. Getting such stunning closeups of Cotopaxi was amazing. We hiked to the bottom of Quilotoa and then my husband hiked back up while I took a mule ride. Quilotoa is a stunning view at the top and equally so from the bottom. At the top are newly built shops and restaurants which were nice to visit as well before heading back to Quito. Our driver stopped as needed, we drove through several interesting small towns and he always told us all about the areas and people we were passing. It was an excellent, scenic, and informative way to spend a day of our short trip getting to see both popular and scenic sites. Highly recommended to spend the money. The day flew by with something new around every bend in the road.
