  • Cotopaxi National Park, Ecuador
    We will visit the Cotopaxi National Park, we will visit the interpretation museum. We will arrive until 4897 m.s.n.m to the Jose Rivas Refuge for the more adventurous we will climb up to the volcano glaciers 5000 m.s.n.m After all this adventure we will descend by bicycle from the parking lot of the volcano to the Limpiopungo Lagoon.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Nice trip, with a nice guide “joe” a lot of facts on the bus trip. When we got to Cotopaxi there was very many clouds so keep that in mind. But they cleared up a bit. The hike was nice but just straight up due to the wind. If you are tall the bikes didn’t fit you but was fun to try

We booked the Bike&Hike Tour spontaneously from Quito and had a very nice experience. The weather hasn’t been quite along (a bit cloudy and partly rainy), but that’s how it is sometimes. Our tour guide David entertained us wonderfully (English and Spanish), told us a lot of interesting facts about Ecuador, the volcanoes, the Cotopaxi and nature and culture and, above all, made a very professional and safety-minded impression. The ascent is a bit strenuous without acclimatization but well done with good condition. Dress warm and nothing can happen. In addition, the delicious lunch was included and David helped us with the onward journey to Latacunga. Thank you and all the best!

Great tour! Thank you David!! They hiked at a pace that was suitable for the whole group. The biking was also super fun. David gave lots of great info on the way there and back also!
