Hacienda La Danesa is a traditional dairy and cacao farm with over 145 years of rich heritage and history, located about an hour drive from Guayaquil, Ecuador. Family-owned and managed by the third generation Olsen family, the farm offers a unique selection of tailor-made activities for guests, including horseback riding trails, hands-on artisan chocolate making and other hacienda-related programs. The menu is mostly traditional Ecuadorian cuisine mixed with a pinch of fresh international influence to bring exceptionally transcendent flavors to the table. La Danesa is one of the few venues in the world that serve the award winning Ecuadorian Chardonnay and other local outstanding microbrewery beers.

  • Hacienda La Danesa, Guayaquil, Ecuador
    A certified professional driver will pick you up at 9am at your desired location. You will arrive at Hacienda La Danesa at arround 10am. The host will greet you and give you a warm welcome to the farm and tell you about La Danesa's history. 10:30am Horseback Riding 12:00pm Cacao Plantation Tour and Chocolate Making 1:30pm Three-course Lunch 2:30pm Coffee & Tea in the Garden/Milking 3:00pm Tubing in the River/Bikes/Relaxing 4:00pm Return to Guayaquil 5:00pm Drop Off At your desired location in Guayaquil.
  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Specialized infant seats are available
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Es un lugar de naturaleza pura con una vegetación verde brillante llegue allá por equivocación y fue maravilloso sus paisajes y tomar un rico chocolate o un exquisito café disfrutar una hamaca sin ruidos sólo el sonido de los pájaros un descanso único sus instalaciones increíbles paseo a caballo comida exquisita de campo se suman a un agradable lugar si quiere paz busque este paraíso pienso repetirlo

Desde el primer momento que te bajas de tren, fue entrar en un oasis. El dueño muy amable nos dedicó unas palabras de bienvenida,.. Empezamos la visita por el camino que te lleva a la zona que recogen el cacao, con las debidas explicaciones de todo el proceso y todo muy bien cuidado. El almuerzo con platos de la zona y los bailes regionales muy bonitos. Puedes comprar subenir, ordeñar una vaca, ver los bonitos caballos. Y me encantó que al final ya para marcharnos todo el personal de la Hacienda incluida sus dueños estaban en fila para despedirnos, todo un detalle...

The tour was great. Was able to get door to door service in a private car for our transportation. Remember to bring a change of clothes if you want to enjoy all aspects of this tour!
