Join us to discover the best of Quito city, the capital city of Ecuador. You'll start walking in the historical center, this is the first Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, and the largest old-town in Latin America. The mandatory visits are Basilica de Voto Nacional church, Plaza Grande, Carondelet Palace, Primary Cathedral and La Compañia de Jesús (the gold church). The tour continues to the Teleférico, the best viewpoint of the city and the volcanoes. You must bring a jacket and hiking shoes to get to the Swing viewpoint and take amazing pictures. In the afternoon you'll visit the equator line (intiñan museums). It is halfway between the North Pole and the South Pole, at 0 degrees latitude. You will walk on the equator that divides the planet into a Northern Hemisphere and a Southern Hemisphere.

Perfect tour for experiencing Quito in a day. Mix of dining, shopping, and sightseeing. Our guide, Christian, was amazing, any expectations were greatly exceeded. Christian tailored the activities to the level of physical exertion and length of time we desired. Perfecta!

This tour was everything I hoped for and more! From start to finish, Christian was an incredible guide — knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history and beauty of Quito. We explored the charming Old Town, stood on both sides of the equator at the Middle of the World, and took in breathtaking views from the cable car. This was the perfect first day in Quito. Our guide, Maurio was amazing. We hit all the high points in Quito and he showed us his favorite place for chocolate ice cream. I would highly recommend this tour and Maurio.
