25 fountains its a magical spot on Madeira Island. Transfer to the levada! Pick up and drop off. Local Guide that will guide you during the Levada walk. Small group, maximum 6 people. This walk its a must do if you are in the island. Its a easy/medium walk with fantastic views inside the valleys and forest of Madeira with a lot of water and a major waterfall in the end of the walk. This walk is 9 km, about 4 hours. We offer insurance, pick-up and drop-off, local and qualified guide Discover Madeira with us!

The 5 km hike is wonderfull. You'll definetely feel your legs due to the altitude of 800 meters. Parking is a disaster or you have to go very early and skip breakfast at the hotel. The distance from the parking place to the start/ending point is 2 km (with altitude difference) and even longer when you're not able to park on the road either. But there is a shuttlebus (single trip 5 euro's). You also need 50 cents for the public toilets. At Rabacal house you can get some coffee. It's a lovely place but I think they didn't have enough personnel to serve the clients.

Die Wanderung ist schön. Gegen ende wurde es aber voll man konnte es trotzdem sehr gut genießen! Ich gebe hier 4/5 Sterne da ich der Meinung bin, dass es auf Madeira auch schönere gibt wie die PR9. Und die hier schon anstrengender ist.

We had a fantastic day out with Luis, he arrived promptly and was very friendly. He was very responsive and accommodating when we changed from PR 6 to PR 6.1 at the last minute due to the age of our children. He waited very patiently for us and we had a relaxing hike knowing someone would be there to take us back to our hotel. He was very knowledgeable and offered to show us more sights on the way home.
