25 fountains its a magical spot on Madeira Island. Transfer to the levada! Pick up and drop off. Local Guide that will guide you during the Levada walk. Small group, maximum 10 people. You can book two options: - Levada walk with local Guide or Just the Transfer. This walk its a must do if you are in the island. Its a easy/medium walk with fantastic views inside the valleys and forest of Madeira with a lot of water and a major waterfall in the end of the walk. This walk is 9 km, about 4 hours. We offer insurance, pick-up and drop-off, local and qualified staff Discover Madeira with us!

We had a fantastic day out with Luis, he arrived promptly and was very friendly. He was very responsive and accommodating when we changed from PR 6 to PR 6.1 at the last minute due to the age of our children. He waited very patiently for us and we had a relaxing hike knowing someone would be there to take us back to our hotel. He was very knowledgeable and offered to show us more sights on the way home.

This trip was literally just a yellow taxi that picked us up and dropped us off. There was no guide, no information about the waterfall walk, no direct, no map given. The driver barely spoke, only to confirm that we would have four hours. Don’t fall for this ‘guided tour with a local’. It’s the complete opposite as to what is advertised.

Self guided tour, you are given roughly 3.5 hours to explore the area. The walks are easy to follow and well sign posted.
