Learn the techniques of printing fabric using wooden hand carved blocks at one of the oldest Hand block printing workshop run by a local family in Jaipur. Walk through the entire process of printing fabric and print your own fabric using the hand blocks and take the product print with you as a souvenir which makes it a unique experience for travellers.

We had an incredible time block printing on a tour with Monty. Real highlight of our time in Jaipur! Monty is a great, friendly host with great knowledge of the city, the industry, and of hosting tourists. I really recommend this experience to anyone looking to try something new (and very fun!), learn and get off the main tourist path. I would definitely recommend this experience for people visiting Jaipur. Monty, having learned the block printing process himself, is a very knowledgeable tour guide. The whole process is fascinating, from learning about the making of the wooden blocks and watching them being used to create intricate patterns on the fabric, to making your own souvenir scarf as a wonderful momento of your trip. Seeing the colours change as the dye was fixed using sulphuric acid and nitrates was amazing. Even my husband wore his scarf for the remainder of the holiday!

One of our favorite experiences in Jaipur. Monty was an incredible host with lots of experience and knowledge. We had so much fun exploring the workshop and doing our own block printing.
