Jaipur is everything you might imagine it will be, and then more. As two middle aged females travelling alone to India for the first time, we were more than happy to meet our guide for the city of Jaipur, Jai Singh. He is funny, knowledgeable and has incredible knowledge of and clear love for Jaipur. Jai made us feel very safe and comfortable while showing us around his city. We saw incredible buildings and temples, a snake charmer, an ancient astrological centre still accurate today, a couple of shops, a museum. Jai took photos of us with our phones much better than we could have done, and then sent us a short video of our time in Jaipur made up of some of these photos we sent to him. Jai practices yoga and meditation and if we could have done something different on this trip we would have stayed a bit longer in Jaipur and done some workshops with Jai. He radiated a great sense of peace. If you ever go to Jaipur, contact Jai for a tremendous experience. We found him via a local tour company called Incredible Real India which we would also highly recommend.
