Located high on a hill, it is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. The town of Amer was originally built by Meenas, and later it was ruled by Raja Man Singh I. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks Maota Lake, which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace.

Was an okay experience. If you’re on tight budget be careful of your activities that your guide suggests.it’s not his fault but yours to care.Our guide Imran was a very friendly personality made our tour easier.thank you Rajasthan incredible tours.

Our driver Imran collected us from the station despite a 2 hour delay, and transported us around Jaipur for several days during our stay. He was polite, kind and thoughtful as well as informative and an exceptionally good driver amongst many that weren’t. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and I’m told all of their drivers take great pride in being the best of them all. They’re also extremely good value for money. Thank you Imran.
