If you’re looking for an authentic experience in the Thar desert in the company of the indigenous community, then look no further. The tour guide, Mr. Raj is an extraordinary individual, who has grown up in a remote village of Jaisalmer, no wonder he knows the desert inside out like the back of his hand. Without a doubt, I wouldn’t hesitate booking a longer duration desert safari because my initial experience has been great. Raj and his family offer a very unique experience with a personal touch which no other commercial tour agency can provide, as for him this is not just work, this is an opportunity to share with others the knowledge of his land and the desert. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it to all looking for a personalised experience and an opportunity to explore the unknown parts of the Thar desert. Ciao!

It was peaceful and safe. Mr Raju is friendly and his fellow cooks and helpers were all sweet. I really enjoyed the part where there is roof above you and you sleep under the stars. They served us welcome tea and starters. He cooked us Mutton on demand but we purchased the meat on our way. On out way to the dunes we visited Kuldhara and the Oasis as well.

We spent 8 days in the desert with Raj. We absolutely loved it, Raj has excellent customer service and a very amiable attitude. He made our experience unforgettable, with campfire songs at night and yummy food for every meal. He cares about how you are feeling and will happily change the experience to suit you and your requests. I greatly recommend him for your camel safari.
