    After hotel pick ups, the bus will take the highway to Porto de Galinhas. The journey takes about an hour. Upon arriving in the city, we walk through the village streets until get to the pier. On the way we see various types of handicraft shops and restaurants.

What was once the 19th century underground slave trade port of Porto de Galinhas has become one of today’s most appealing Brazilian beach resorts. You can take optional Jangada (traditional fishing raft) tour through the reef pools (subjet to low tide) and buggy trip to the beaches of Pontal de Maracaípe and Muro Alto. The buggy ride lasts around two hours. It is possible to visit the Hippocampus project, Biology, cultivation and conservation of seahorses. Optional diving is also possible. The depths hold friendly and beautiful fish. Natureza deslumbrante, marinha e terrestre. O vento que sopra atenúa bastante o calor. Cuidado extremo com o sol! Mergulhar c.os peixes nas piscinas naturais até 9-10h da manhã ("mar seco", como chamam) é imperdível. Cerca de duzentos metros mais ao sul das piscinas, o banho é quase solitário e por demais prazeroso.

Compre excursión con guía en español y cuando subí al ómnibus se me informa que no hay guía que hable español. Recife es un lugar que si no hablas portugués resulta muy difícil entenderse. Luego, en Porto de Gallinhas no pude disfrutar de la playa ya que el restaurante donde nos quedamos no tenía ya reposeras disponibles. Es un pequeño el espacio de arena. De todas formas podes estar todo el tiempo en el agua pero yo prefería tomar sol. Recomiendo llevar efectivo porque las actividades extras no aceptan tarjeta.

Porto de Galinhas é cheia de lugares para visitação, bons restaurantes, praias lindas. Gostei de conhecer. Tem alguns pontos negativos como cheiro forte de esgoto na cidade e muitas muitas pessoas (vendedores) te abordando a todo momento com vendas de passeios, não consegue descansar numa cadeira de praia. Achei estranho também a quantidade de pessoas querendo cobrar R$20 para deixar o carro na rua, eles não ollham o carro ou te ajudam a estacionar, simplesmente acham que são os donos da rua. Achei o valor elevado também dos passeios e das comidas. Não tem muitas opções baratas e fast-foods. No geral nota 7/10.
