We actually got a transfer from Luxor, which is a four hour trip, but our driver was lovely. We were given flippers and snorkelling gear and we were lead to a beautiful white boat. I have to admit one of the things that immediately stood out was that no shoes were allowed on the top deck and your feet were washed after spending time on the beach and going up to the top deck. This boat was very clean and had a lot of shade.
We were given a short introduction to the trip and the crew, but most of the crew introduced themselves individually to us. They had a camera man and an underwater camera man who also acted as entertainers during sailing time (making silly jokes or pranks and turning towels into items of fashion).
Safety was paramount and we all snorkelled in a group and saw some amazing sights (the corals and beautifully coloured fish). They even offered life jackets for those not confident swimmers.
But even though the snorkelling was the main part of the trip it was by far the only thing. We also had the chance to go in a small glass bottomed boat, bannana boat or another float (where you could request for it to be an easy or difficult ride), jumping off the top of the boat and sunbathing/swimming on a small island in the middle of the sea where one of the crew gave me the chance to hold a hermit crab. We also witnessed the sunset on the boat which was amazingly peaceful.
The motto of this boat was basically just to have as much fun as you can. Thank you to the whole team, I had so much fun! I would 100% recommend this.
