    Day 1:Hurghada- Luxor  Early morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada by a private A.C. Car to be transferred to Luxor for an overnight trip to Luxor from Makadi. Upon arrival you will meet your private tour guide who will join you to visit: Karnak Temple:  No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and pharoahs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land.

  • Luxor Temple, Luxor, Egypt
    Luxor Temple:  The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Rameses II, the temple's purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office.: Sound and Light Show at Karnak: The show starts with a historical introduction covering the birth of the great city of Thebes and erection of the Karnak Temple.  The show narrates the glorious achievements of some great Pharaohs as you listen to a magnificent and poetic description of the artistic treasures and great legacy which the Karnak temple encloses.     Day 2: Luxor - Makadi Breakfast at your hotel then you will be accompanied by your private tour guide and a private air-conditioned vehicle to visit:  Valley of the Kings: The final resting place of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.

TRIP The tour was absolutely amazing, we were picked up from our hotel on time and the driver was brilliant. You stop half way for a drink and a little pit stop, then. Back on the road towards luxor. All the timings were perfect and we met our guide NAAMA has been the absolute best, her knowledge and passion is second to none. She is so friendly and so welcoming, we spent our day with her and visited all the other temples and the valley of the kings. AMAZING… Dinner was nice and to finish off we had a trip on the Nile. 100% RECOMMEND.

We had great day in luxor with hoda the brilliant amazing guide she gave us all the information we need in way like stories and quiz which make us attention the hole day .the was long but deserve every moment in the car.two drivers drove us coming and going back which give arelife and save.the food also was so good .i came three times to egypt this was my best one ever .thank you hoda

The best price/quality-wise private tour offer (out of 5-6) we got in March 2022 for Luxor trip from Makadi bay/Hurghada. The two of us got picked up at the gate of the hotel in Makadi Bay early in the morning. The driver (Rajab) was very attentive. Although the road takes around 4 hours and you have to pass through numerous military and tourist police check points (another reason to have it covered by the agency and local driver) the road itself is smooth and comfortable. Great mountainous desert view from the window. Good car (Kia Sorento), air conditioning, a bottle of water was provided for the way there and another for the way back. In Luxor we were joined by the English-speaking tour guide Naama. Naama's a very competent Egyptologist that didn't leave any of our questions unanswered. She also gave us some good hints on what to do in the Luxor city on our free time in the first evening after seeing Karnak and Luxor temples. Karnak, Luxor, Hatshepsut temples and the Valley of the Kings tombs (only three included though) are impressive, must see. You get back to Makadi/Hurghada in the second evening in time to have late dinner at the hotel. Lunches during the trip are included, the second one was the best we've had during our stay in Egypt. The drinks are extra charge. Also be prepared to pay a dollar for a bathroom if you absolutely need to use one at the historic sight, or when you stop on the road, that's just a local thing. Overall, it's a great arrangement that will save you the energy to actually enjoy the sights that some people come to see in overcrowded buses in one day's time. Ksenia & Eugene
