I booked a 1-day Reims pass for a Saturday. I easily booked it on online and found the app very useful for seeing what attractions were available.
There are a few things to note with the pass:
- Firstly, some attractions aren’t open on weekends and vice versa, so you have a tough decision to make about what day of the week to book it for.
- Be wary of linking your pass to your phone. I linked it to my phone which later had to be replaced and subsequently lost access to my pass. Luckily, the Reims Tourist Office were able to respond to my email within a few working hours to resolve this.
- When your ticket is checked on the tram, the code that Reims Pass produces for the tram isn’t recognised by ticket inspectors. Luckily, a local resident was able to explain this to the inspector for me.
I would recommend doing a fair bit of research before purchasing a pass, as I sadly wasn’t able to get my money’s worth.
It’s a great initiative by Reims Tourist Office but still appears to be in the early stages. Once it’s developed further, it will be very popular among tourists.
