This 6-day tour takes you to the must see Golden Circle route with all its amazing sites. You will see the unbeatable Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and of course the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Thingvellir National Park. Next you will be heading to the much talked about South Coast, where you will explore the unique black sand beach, Reynisfjara and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. After exploring the Eastfjords, Lake Mývatn awaits with its unique surroundings, you will explore Dimmuborgir lava pillars and then carry on the journey to the capital of the North, Akureyri. From there you will head down south to the capital. This is one of the best tours that I have ever had and it was such a pleasant experience. It didn't feel like traveling with a group of strangers but with a group of friends during which we helped each other and most importantly had a lot of fun. Johann Kari (we called him Yohan during the tour) was also the best tour guide I had ever met who always smiles with incredible patience (thank you for your sweater Johann). Will definitely choose Troll next time when I come back to Iceland!!

I think your tour guide will make a huge difference in your your experience and I am safe to say we definitely have a best one (or at least one of the best) for ours. Johan is incredibly welcoming, patient, and has great knowledge about all the spots and hidden gems along the way so we ended up being shown a lot of pretty caves, amazing photo spots and waterfalls (haha Icelandic waterfalls as always). Will definitely recommend the tour if you get to stay on one with him. Otherwise, the travel plans were sensible, although you did get to do a lot more in the south compared to in the north. The ice caves and glacier walking is something one cannot moss. The hotels are generally clean, small but functional (although this could definitely have been better). All in all, I think we’ve had quite an experience with Johan being one of the highlights.

Realização de um sonho em conhecer um lugar tão exótico e diferentes . Passamos alguns perrengues como estradas bloqueadas por avalanches e nevasca mas o guia sempre atencioso dirigiu o grupo com cuidado e nao deixamos de aproveitar mesmo assim!!!! Infelizmente nao vi a Aurora nessa viagem, entao terei que voltar ???? Hotéis bons e confortáveis
