Departures from BSI Bus Terminal are every hour according to the opening hours of the Blue Lagoon. After having enjoyed all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you can either return to Reykjavík or be dropped off at Keflavík International Airport (KEF). Entry to the Blue Lagoon is not included and must be booked in advance.

Truly amazing trip. Was so much better than I thought it would be. Make sure you order yourself a waterproof cover for your phone as you will want to take lots of photos. The cover can be purchased at the lagoon but will set you back £23. You will need to remove all jewellery and glasses. Also you need to shower before entering and are recommended to cover your hair in conditioner and leave it in (conditioner available in the showers) Great fun putting on the face pack- made for some great photos. Drinks and face packs available from the bar in the pool. Life guards ensure everyone is behaving. Was an incredible experience.

Purchased (for extra money) an add on hotel pick up - but this didn't get linked to our booking so nobody came - had to call the local company to sort it out and stand around in sub-zero temperatures. Our plan was to go to the Blue Lagoon and from there on to the airport - but the last bus for the airport left at 1:50pm which would have only given us 30 minutes at the lagoon! So we ended up having to get a taxi (over $100). Nowhere in the booking did it give the times of the last buses.

Clean, comfortable and punctual. The bus was easy to find at both ends of the journey and gave a bit more flexibility than an organised trip.
