Silfra fissure is one of the top dive sites in the world, situated in Thingvellir National Park, only about 50 kilometers from Reykjavik. You can either head to the Sky Lagoon after the tour or move your reservation for another time and day that suits your travel plans best!

  • Please note that that dry suits can sometimes feel quite tight and constricting, especially around the neck and wrists
  • Minimum age is 12 years, please reach out regarding younger participants & Participants over the age of 65 need to get a physicians approval.
  • Be at minimum 150cm (4’9) tall / maximum 200cm (6’7) tall, and be at minimum 50kg (99 lbs) / maximum 120kg (264 lbs)
  • Don't wear glasses, instead bring contact lenses or your own prescription mask (if you have one)
  • Recommended to bring a change of clothes (the drysuit has a very small chance of leaking)
  • We recommend wearing long thermal underwear and thick wool socks a a base layer under the drysuit
  • All participants heights, weights and age must be provided to local operator. If you do not provide at time of booking, please contact supplier immediately after booking to provide this information
  • All participants will need to fill out a medical form before participating in the tour. Please find a link to the medical statement on your ticket voucher right after booking the experience to be sure if you qualify.
  • Please dress according to weather - no heals or jeans
  • Note: Each guide can assist one group of up to six participants at a time. Up to three different groups can be present during this activity.
  • Make sure to eat breakfast before this activity
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Two of the more spectacular things we did in Iceland. Regarding the snorkeling, it was hella cold, and the prep work took a while, but it was well worth it. The guides, Arturo and Dory, were fun, informative, and extremely helpful. The view underwater was amazing. The bragging rights to be able to say this was something we did, priceless. The Sky Lagoon was the perfect way to end the experience. It was never too hot that you couldn’t just stay in the spa, and the Ritual felt a little gimmicky, but also quite enjoyable. But, it does have two advantages over the Blue Lagoon: first, very little crowd. Enough people to make you feel like you did a thing with others, but could easily move around and have nice moments alone, and second, the view was spectacular. The Infinity pool overlooking the ocean was amazing, and the swim-up bar was perfect.
