This full day, guided Golden Circle Super Jeep tour takes you to the most popular sites when visiting Iceland in small and intimate groups. To make it even more exciting, you will be taken to the area of Langjokull glacier, the second largest ice cap in Iceland. Other sights on this tour are the historical Thingvellir national park, Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfall.

Please note that Activity Iceland offers pick-up service from authorized pickup points in Reykjavik downtown area. We can unfortunately not offer pick-up service from Airbnb or private apartments, nor Keflavik Airport for our tours. If your pick-up location is not on our pick up list in the booking form then we kindly ask you to locate the closest pick-up point to your accommodation. It might take up to 30 min for our guides to reach your pick-up point, so please wait patiently for us to arrive. As much as possible be prepared and ready to go.

Snowmobiling and off-road buggy driving are exciting and thrilling add-ons to your Golden Circle sightseeing day.

  • Dress code: according to weather forecast and expect sudden weather change
  • If you opt in for buggy or snowmobile, the driver has to be at least 18 years of age and hold a fully valid driving license. Children can ride as passengers only.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Enjoyed a short trip to Iceland staying at Blue Lagoon Spa which was gorgeous, but the absolute highlight was the day in Super Jeep with expert guide and driver Gunaar. We saw much more than just the highlights (Geysir, Selfoss and Parliament) stopping for tomatoe soup, shipwrecks, several view points and of course an incredible ride to the glacier.

Our guide Magnús was brilliant, we found ourselves with a very foggy morning so he altered the schedule to make the most of the weather and it paid off with sunshine at pingvellir which would have been totally disappointing if we hadn’t been able to see it! Plenty of stops en route and the trip onto the glacier was amazing, just one point which I’ve seen people complain about on Facebook...this is not a tour in a Jeep, it is a superb mini bus on gigantic wheels - lots of people were stopping to take photos! This should not put you off, it was a brilliant vehicle.

I would highly recommend this tour it captures everything and went way beyond our expectations the tour guide Valur was so knowledgeable and the Glacier experience is a must !!
