Öldur is the first and only Meadery in Iceland. We have a good variety of both classic and session meads. Depending on what we have on hand you will get to taste at least three different type of meads. We focus on quality and try to use Icelandic ingredients as often as possible.

Cannot recommend this enough! If you want to try some amazing mead with an awesome guy who has put his heart and soul into his product, this is it!!! Seriously you have to book this! As for me, I will definitely be back!

My husband and I enjoyed our meadery tour at Oldur. Though the meadery is small, we felt our time was well spent. The owner spent well over the allotted time with us and provided some excellent mead to try. I’m looking forward to coming back or when I can purchase the mead in the States.

Très belle découverte. Un produit délicieux trop peu connu qui mérite d’être mis en avant. Le propriétaire nous a fait déguster plusieurs produit, et a expliqué parfaitement le fonctionnement de la distillerie. Très sympathique, je recommande à 100%
