We have decades of experience in guiding people to the Northern Lights and we have realized that entertainment is a crucial part of the excursion, especially if we have to wait for the Aurora to come out. In order to make the excursion more fun we have Viking weapons and outfits sourced at a local museum to play with and take night time pictures which sometimes come out really nicely. We take pictures and email them to the client the day after.

We are so thrilled with our Northern Lights Tour with Aurora Viking. Kolby and Emil were fantastic. They are extremely knowledgeable about the lights and how to witness them. They made the tour very fun too. They gave 1000% effort for us to see the Northern Lights in April which can be a tricky time and they absolutely succeeded. We even went one night and they were not satisfied with the results of what we saw even though we did see a little bit of the lights. Emil insisted we come back and try again anytime and we picked the very next day which they confirmed had good lights forecast. They went above and beyond to ensure we got to see the lights. Also, even though the tour was supposed to end by 2am, Kolby allowed us to stay out longer because the lights kept getting stronger and stronger. If your goal is to go with an experienced tour company who brings fun energy this is your tour.

Our guide Kobe made sure we were in the best spot possible to see the lights. He took tons of pictures with his fancier camera so we would all have the most colorful, best shots possible (as you can see in these photos). He was friendly and left the shuttle van running so you could keep warm between sightings. We enjoyed cocoa and cookies. And we were well rewarded as we enjoyed several bursts of activity throughout the evening. I chose this tour because I knew it would be a small group and it was perfect. It is easier to get a smaller vehicle into some of these out of the way places. Well worth going on this tour. Bonus, you get to have your picture taken in Viking grab. Don’t miss it!

Amazing experience and a genuine hunt for the northern lights. It was super cloudy and we were slightly worried we would be left disappointed but the guides expertise in hunting clear skies and the northern lights proved us wrong! A great journey trying to find them and amazing once we did. They take fantastic photos of you so even if you don’t capture them so well on your own phone you leave with great shots! Hot chocolate and gingerbread for the journey back to warm up was a lovely touch. Small group meant we could search for the best spots and I can imagine a large coach in a parking lot wouldn’t have found us the lights that night. Would recommend!
