    The tour starts and ends by our ticket office at the Reykjavík's Old Harbour. Here you arrive 30 minutes prior to the departure to get ready for the tour and the guide then walks you down to the boat which is docket at the Harbour.

    On the tour we sail close by 2-3 islands where the puffins are nesting. The islands are nature reserves so we stay on the boat during the tour but we get you extra close to the islands on our RIB speedboats

An amazing tour. I had been a bit apprehensive about taking my elderly mother on this excursion. I needn't have worried. Whale Safari were brilliant from start to finish. It was the highlight of our trip to Iceland and we loved every minute. A fantastic and really knowledgeable guide, an incredible number of puffins and a very enjoyable boat ride. Thank you!!

Our Captain and our naturalist/marine biologist were wonderful. She was so knowledgeable about all the sea birds, and was always on the lookout for the next wondrous sight to point out to us. Our captain maneuvered our boat expertly to provide us the best viewing, and photo opportunities. Very comfortable in the overalls and the boat was awesome for mobility and viewing. DO IT!!!

After squeezing into a thick, hot water survival jumpsuit, we boarded the rib boat. You kind of stand with your butt on the seat, holding onto the back of the seat in front of you. The puffins are on two islands just outside the harbor, literally 7 minutes away. We saw tons of puffins both on the islands and in the water. Plus our guide and our skipper showed us other birds. The hour went by very quickly. Glad we did the trip.
