    We will start the day with a visit to the National Park of Thingvellir. Both history and nature are making this park one of the most interesting sites in Iceland. You will begin the visit from a viewing platform on which your guide will tell you everything there is to know about this place. Your guide will then orientate you to another place in the park where he will meet you. The short walk along the tectonic plate is simply stunning. From this rendez-vous point, your guide will show you the way to the waterfall of Öxarárfoss, a man-made waterfall from viking times.

  • Geysir, Geysir, Iceland
    Welcome to the most famous site in Iceland: The geyser of Strókkur and its older brother: Geysir. Geysir is a geyser that is now dormant, eruptions are extremely rare. Although the english word "Geyser" is directly coming from this geyser. Right next to it is another geyser, named Strókkur, which erupts every 5 to 10 minutes. This is the one that you will see bursting over and over again!

    Gullfoss is a waterfall in a glacial river, the water comes from the second glacier of Europe: The Langjökull. Gullfoss is a very powerful waterfall and is about 30 m tall, divided in two drops of 20 and 10 meters each.

    A tomato farm in Iceland. Even though this would sound quite unlikely at first, as tomatoes are known to grow in warmer climates, it turns out that it is actually nature that is helping us to grow tomatoes here all year round. In this greenhouse, surrounded by 2-3m high tomato plants, we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Maybe you will also like to treat yourselves to a bloody mary?

Nous avons fait confiance à Julien de Lilja Tours pour nous faire visiter le sud ouest de l’Islande sur 4 jours et nous ne l’avons pas regretté ! En 4 jours, Julien a su nous faire découvrir de nombreux paysages riches et variés tout en s’adaptant a nos demandes ainsi qu’à notre rythme! Super expérience avec Julien ! Je suis français je viens de Toulouse et j’ai vraiment apprécié cette visite avec Julien ! Merci pour ce partage et cette expérience . Julien est un amoureux de l’Islande et nous le transmet. je n’ai qu’une hâte revenir en Islande .
