Join our group tour of the Spirit of the Aurora Tour with Professional Photography and photo shoot. We believe that having a dedicated person to the photography makes all of the difference on our tours, the photos are a big part of our memories and a souvenir we get from the experience. THIS TOUR RUNS DEPENDENT ON WEATHER - every day we assess the situation and decide whether or not to run the tour. This decision is made by 5 PM, in the case of a canceled tour due to weather you will be notified at this time, and feel free to send us any questions to our email. We started out as one guide wanting to share and give more. With growing demand, the team has grown and our team of adventure-loving guides will be with you on your tour with us. This is not a single-man operation, but a family of guides who believe in the vision David has for the industry.

In the downtown area, we must meet at the Tour Bus Stops. Outside of downtown we can meet at your hotel. We only offer Reykjavik pickup, we do not pickup in Keflavik or other locations/cities.

The northern lights hunt bus tour with “David the Guide company” was worthwhile. Our guide was Swedish but living in Iceland for 7 years. He was knowledgeable, fun and a die hard photographer, being outside in the cold the whole time in freezing cold & hard winds to take numerous pictures of all of us and the northern lights. The sad part was that we travelled a lot to see some northern lights and although we saw them we saw them through the clouds. Nevertheless, they were so strong that the pictures look amazing. This trip was a complete disappointment. The weather was terrible, with rain pouring down and thick clouds obscuring any chance of seeing the elusive Aurora Borealis. Despite the awful conditions, the tour continued, and we were out until the early hours of the morning, fruitlessly chasing nonexistent gaps in the clouds. I can't help but feel like the tour operators should have cancelled the trip and saved us all the trouble. It was a huge waste of money and time, and I was left feeling cheated and frustrated.
