This is the tour where you get to know all about the eruption of Iceland's Volcanoes. Dofri was a fantastic local guide, very responsive and flexible as we adjusted our plans around the weather and the whims of lava flows. We had a great day hiking in the Reykjanes peninsula and driving to some of the geothermal active areas. The perfect way to kick off our Iceland adventure.

We spent a magical day with Gylfi, touring the active volcano and the surrounding area. How fortunate we were to see the earth perform in this spectacular fashion. How fortunate we were to have had such an excellent tour guide.

This was one of the most fun private tours we did because of how engaging and knowledgeable our guide Dofri was. He kept us entertained with trivia, hilarious anecdotes and detailed information about the beautiful sights we saw. The different landscapes we drove and walked through were surreal, and the food we had in a small fishing village was delicious. Dofri went out of his way to make this a personalised and memorable experience for us and we are so thankful for that! Can't wait to do another tour the next time we're in Iceland.
