I won't give away any 'surprises', but the lecture details the very interesting life of William Stephenson, and possible/probable links to the James Bond stories. The host was very knowledgeable and this is obviously a passion project. I have a keen interest on some subjects which are within one degree of separation, and the hosts knowledge extended well past the lecture and they were happy to answer related questions. I highly recommend the experience for anyone with an interest in the history of intelligence, WW2, or history in general - there are a number of interesting links to Iceland. If you have a low attention span the lecture may not be for you.

We really enjoyed the lecture; it was rich, relevant, and served as a comprehensive introduction to William Stephenson. The setting was perfect for this type of activity, bringing a lot of authenticity to the experience. David managed to draw us into the story while maintaining our interest, even with a presentation that lasted approximately 1 hour. If you love James Bond, spies, or have a nerdy inclination towards these types of things, this is the activity you should try in Reykjavik

To sum it up: David seemed to be a very and knowledgeable nice guy, but the experience was what we felt a rather lengthy and dry PowerPoint presentation, without any real insights nor any interesting background information. Rather reminded us of a school lecture. Sorry to say, but did not meet our expectations at all (we relied on previous reviews and were more expecting a mystery event with interactive parts or at least insightful or fun stories). Not worth the price/time from our point of view, unfortunately…
