The most beautiful hall of the complex is the Baroque Library with beautiful frescoes and historically valuable globes. The Mirror Chapel with its richly designed interior and unique installation of mirrors is a place where classical music concerts take place regularly. (You can either decide do do some extras and extend this basic tour, or on your own visit the interiors.)

    There are many sites that you can see in the Prague Jewish Town: The Old New Synagogue is one of the oldest and most valuable European and world Jewish monuments, and the oldest synagogue in Central Europe. The early Gothic building dates from the 13th century. It is today the main synagogue of the Jewish community in Prague. The Old Jewish Cemetary The most important person buried in the Old Jewish Cemetery is undoubtedly the great religious scholar and teacher Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel, known as Rabbi Löw (d. 1609), with whom is associated with the legend of the artificial creature – the golem. The Jewish Museum is one of the oldest and richest Jewish museums in the world. During our tour we will walk through the Jewish town, but we will not enter the sites. (You can either decide to add some extras and extend this basic tour with us, or visit the interiors later on your own.)

We had the very good fortune of having a personal tour of Prague with Šárka of PersonalPragueGuide.com. She took our group of four on an overview tour of about 4 hours. Šárka has an amazing knowledge of the history and architecture of beautiful Prague and the culture of the Czech people. Not only did she tell us the history, she used visual aids: among other things, a plasticized timeline that she created helped to pull it all together for us. We were captivated by the legends, stories and little secrets of Prague that she shared. She gave us an appreciation of what we were actually seeing. We looked at Prague with new eyes afterwards. We also used her company’s airport pick up service, and it worked seamlessly. A shout out to Jakub for meeting us and easily delivering us to our hotel in the heart of Old Town while giving us tidbits of information en route. Thank you Personal Prague Guide for making our visit great!

We were uncharacteristically unprepared for this trip. Planning our Prague tour was daunting. We decided to put our faith in Viator and we were not disappointed. Our Private Guide, Tereza, proved to be very knowledgeable, skilled, and attentive to our needs. We would NEVER have seen the things we saw without her. It would have taken us three days to experience the things we did in one. She pushed us to the limit. We wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend it to family and friends.
