Kemeri National Park, Jurmala, Latvia The Kemeri Bog is more than 8000 years old and is one of the biggest bogs in Latvia. In 2013 a boardwalk was set up to create a route through the most beautiful parts of the bog. The boardwalk takes visitors to the world of moss, small pine trees, deep pools, tiny dark lakes, and the smell of wild rosemary. The astute visitor will notice the carnivorous plant of sundew, and a variety of birds – wood sandpipers, white wagtails, tree pipits, and also hear cranes further away. Those who prefer shorter strolls can take the short route (1.4 km), while those who choose the great arc (3.4 km) will be rewarded with the opportunity to climb an observation platform that offers a magnificent view of the bog from above. 120 minutes
Jurmala open-air museum, Jurmala, Latvia You'll continue the tour with the Open-Air museum which tells you the story of Jurmala - just a fishing village on the shore near Riga and how it became one of the greatest resorts of Russian Empire. You'll learn about traditional way of living of fishermen as well as ways of restind and recreation of Czar and his court. 45 minutes
Dzintari Forest Park, Jurmala, Latvia The Dzintari Forest Park in Jurmala is a great place for both lovers of active recreation, and also for those who prefer a leisurely stroll in the crisp pine air. Its most valuable asset is the 200-year-old pine grove and protected habitats, which have remained intact even to this day. There's a 36m high watchtower in the middle of the park overlooking all directions - you can see the Baltic Sea, the dunes, the pines, the city of Jūrmala and, weather permitting, even some parts of Riga.
After this, your guide will take you to a local restaurant, where you'll be able to try traditional as well as contemporary Latvian cuisine.
Jomas Street, Jurmala, Latvia Jomas iela (Jomas Street) is the heart of Jurmala. Holidaymakers fill the city’s main street every summer, and it’s said that this is the place where the Resort of Jurmala began. Back when Jurmala was still mostly just large expanses of sand, the wind blew it here and there, naturally forming a series of dunes and valleys. In Latvian, such a valley is called a “joma”, and a main road, now called Jomas iela, was eventually established along one of these valleys. The more than a kilometer long pedestrian street is where the town’s fanciest boutiques and most popular cafés and restaurants are located.
Along the way, enjoy Jurmalas wooden architecture that's been a trademark of the city for centuries. These beautiful buildings will lead you right to the most popular beach, so if you plan to swim, don't forget your swimwear.
After the beach, your guide will take you back to your hotel or any other location by your choosing. 60 minutes

The tour was well planned and executed. All the places visited were worth it, and the guide provided interesting and useful information. It's the best and most comfortable way to visit both the Kemeri National Park and Jurmala in one day.

Had a very pleasant day as I was the only person the guide was flexible with the tour but I was quite happy to just let him show me the best places, his name was Harijs and was very good and knowledge. The trip was well worth doing to see the countryside outside of Riga. We went to a beach side restaurant that he normally goes to with family and friends for a light lunch stop before we went out to the bogs
