Enjoy the benefits of a day beginning with physical activity and experience a picturesque hike on the famous Great Ķemeri Bog boardwalk upon arrival at the National Park. After the inspiring morning improv-hike in Kemeri boglands, you will visit the amazing Kanieris Lake and one of its bird watching towers. This big shallow lake is an amazing former lagoon of the prehistoric Littorina Sea. It is very close to the Gulf Of Riga. Kanieris Lake is an important stop-over place for migratory birds. Nature trails along the banks of this lake go through various unique protected ecosystems (habitats) and can be a great place for you to spot wildlife. Now it is time to have a glimpse of the unique wet forests of Ķemeri National Park and their natural values including the famous Sulphur springs. Before heading back to Riga you will enjoy the fresh air of the stunning sandy beach and coastal pine forests of the Gulf of Riga.

Wow this was an amazing trip. Our guide Rolands and his assistant Dita were great fun and very informative. The walk through the bog was a challenge as it was very icy on the planks but we managed to stay upright! We enjoyed a very nice Latvian lunch of snacks which was delicious sat by the lake. Great views through the forest of the beach too. Highly recommend this trip.

We were in Latvia for 10 days, and this was our favourite day. A stunning private tour of three very distinct environments in Kemeri National Park. Roland was an excellent local tour guide: highly knowledgeable (the man has two degrees) and friendly, bringing lots of personal touches to the day… including his wife’s cooking! We had an amazing time on this adventure and would recommend to anyone.

Absolut empfehlenswerte Tour durch die atemberaubende Moorlandschaft des Kemeri Nationalpark. Wir hatten das Glück, das Moor und den Strand als märchenhafte Schneelandschaft zu erleben. Roland von Idä-Aventures holte uns direkt beim Hotel ab und machte die rund 5h-Tour zu einem grossartigen Erlebnis. Wie haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und durch seine begeisternden Erzählungen viel über dieses Naturwunder und Lettland im Allgemeinen erfahren dürfen. Das Buchen im Vorfeld klappte ganz einfach, und das Preis-Leistung ist top! Dass Roland während der Tour viele Fotos von uns machte und uns diese im Anschluss zustellte, war der krönende Abschluss unseres Ausfluges. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
