When you go to Riga in the summer – May to September - there is no need to worry that you will miss out on all the fun. There may not be the ice to slide down, but you can have a bobsleigh on wheels. The thrill will be there but so will the safety as the last thing the organizers want is for a client to get injured, so there are safety measures in place. You are much more boxed in the bobsleigh on wheels. You will have an English speaking guide and all the safety equipment is included. There are 1 ride for each and just in case it did not dawn on you – don’t eat too much beforehand.

    The activity was awesome but the guide was not good at all. Our bob pilot was kind and really skilled and we managed to reach top speed at 85 km/h - it was FAST and FUN. The experience would have been so much better if the guide was engaged. Maybe she had a bad day? She told us she had been up all night partying with another group :/ It would have been appreciated with some background story regarding the bob sleigh and what to expect etc ...but no such luck this time.
